Custom Profile Fields "Extra Options" missing in 4.0.0 to 4.0.1 upgrade

If you had custom profile fields for members in the "Extra Options" section of vB 4.0.0 (x) and upgraded to 4.0.1 you probably have noticed that it is no longer listed in the AdminCP>User Profile Field Manager> or listed in the actual member Settings (UserCP) so that members can edit the field content. Although this is the main issue, the upgrade did not remove the fields content. Any member who has entered info into those custom profile fields prior to the upgrade, their data is still saved and can stil be called in the templates. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

That happen to come from a mod.

I had the same mod.

You will have to use mysql and alter the tables. they are set to 6 you need to set them to 0 again.

You could just install the 4.0 version of the mod and they will be visible again.

Search for extra profile fields or page.

Thank you, I was able to put the custom fields on the edit profile page. How do I get them back to the "Extra Options" page, I am now able to see the profile.php?do=extra page, but it is no longer an option to display custom fields on that page in the dropdown when I edit the profile field in the AdminCP.

Read the install file it clearly tells you how to add it to the adminCP options.

;)

Thanks :) Worked perfectly, didnt think to look at the instructions. Honestly, the mod worked perfectly when I upgraded from 3.8.4 to 4.0.0 so seeing as it was written for 4.0.0 I didnt think it would help. Guess I was wrong :)
