Subforum issue

when trying to start a new thread in subforums this vBulletin message comes up: "Sorry! This forum is not accepting new posts" i went and check the settings for the subforums and they are set to Active. what could it be?

FYI: i also installed the Hasann subforum manager. but have not received any help.

I assume you have checked the permissions for the forum in the Forum Permissions page?

Try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

PHP Code:

define('DISABLE_HOOKS'true);

You will have to ask for help regarding that issue in the modification thread. I don't know that mod and can't help at all.

well im not really sure if the mod is causing the problem because i never tried to post before it. the subforums could have been messed up before. the forum open thread and post permissions are on Yes. but still not working.

When you disabled all your mods per my post 2, did it fix the issue? Have you checked the forum permissions AND the forum manager for that forum?
