Spammers! Help!
 

The same computer (I think) keeps making new accounts and is posting a bunch of spam about vibrators and ringtones. Is there anything I can do to stop this? vB4. I was looking at one mod that stops names from being with only letters, but this bot just keeps making new accounts with letters. I'm gonna try banning the id, but since it's a bot, I'm sure it makes new ids every hour or so... Anything else I can do?!

They were from the same ip, but I'm still wanting to stop spamming for good, any way?

There is no way to stop spamming for good. There are several mods to help you stop, but what works on one site doesn't necessarily work on another site.

This is the wrong forum to be posting this sort of request. This is a forum for requesting a new mod to be created to do something very specific which you ask for. All you are asking for are recommendations. Users won't know what to recommend since you haven't said if you are using vb3 or vb4 (which would have been obvious if you have posted in the correct vb3 or vb4 forum).

And since you're a mod, why don't you just move it if it's bothering you?
