How to customize the Section widget

Hi,

I really like how the Section Navigation widget works, but I have structured the sections with sub-sections several levels deep and was wondering what the best strategy would be for customizing it so as to display by default, say the first two levels. It might also be good to change the title of the widget from "Sections" to something a bit more friendly to a user.
