Default Gradient - HELP

I want to add the gradient at the top of the forum behind my logo (default is fine), but I can't find the dang thing? where is it?? is it an image or done dynamically? some help would be great.

Also at the top I can't find any custom button help when I search anyone have a link to adding a custom tab or drop down menu to VB4?

Gradients are images.

There are several mods and articles about adding tabs. Try looking in the vB4 mods forums and the vB4 articles forums.

The gradient at the top that is by default a blue gray ish color that looks like a gradient... well I cant find it in the gradients folder... and I was wondering what image it was or where it was called from.

to see the top header look at http://forum.lvdivers.com you can see that my logo image is close but not 100%

You mean where the forum names are? images/buttons/newbtn_middle.png

Get firebug (a firefox add-on) and it will making figuring these things out very easy.

no the header I have attached a screen shot.

if you look at the logo in the picture you will see the background is almost correct... but where oh where is that image that is the headers background (in the red circle)

That isnt exactly a gradient per say. Its a mix of color + gradient png overlayed.
Just change the header background color and it should take care of it.
If you dont want the gradient effect, just remove the gradient png.

ok how do I go about putting that color + gradent PNG overlay (and where do I find it) into my logos background?

It is in stylevars. You have to change that first.
