vb4 header css issues

Hi,

I am using vBulletin 4.

When not logged in, I've noticed that:

[1] Once you leave the home page the "remember me" box loses it's spacing

[2] If you go to blogs page the "User Name" etc text gets smaller.

I checked some other vbulletin 4 installs and this is the same so it is not just my board.

I want the header to look the same wherever you go on the site, how can I fix this?

Thanks

Claudia

Questions regarding default vBulletin 4 should be asked on the vBulletin.com forums. See this sticky - Installation Issues / Questions or bug reports regarding default vBulletin 4.0

This is the way vbulletin does things by default, but I was directed to this site as I want to change it? (I have posted on vbulletin.com also re this issue)

Well, you mentioned that it is that way by default. I pointed you back to vb.com thinking this was a bug and it just needs to be fixed. Have you entered it into the bug tracker? Were you told it is acting as designed? It just seems it would be better to have vbulletin fix it rather than have you go changed thing.

However, you wrote:

I just checked my test site and I don't see any of this behavior. I'm not sure if that is because it's fixed in 4.0.1, or what, but you may just want to wait and upgrade to 4.0.1 and see if that fixes the issue.

Thanks

I didn't put it in bug tracker on other site, I only posted on message boards, so I'll see can I do that now. If it is a bug I don't know?

You can see the issue on http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/

Many people probably don't notice as it is only "remember me" losing it's spacing once you browse away from home and blogs page having different sized text in header. It is only small, but it annoys me! I want to try to fix it!

Ah... I see that now. It is very slight. I'd throw it in the bug tracker. I doubt it will get a very high priority though for now.
This is the problem:

On the Forum page:
HTML Code:

input, textarea, select, button {font-family:Tahoma,Calibri,Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif;}
On blogs:
HTML Code:

input, textarea, select, button {font-family:Calibri,Tahoma,Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif;}
Post that in your bug report so they can easily see what the problem is.

(If you want to change it - stylevar vbblog_input_font is the second one. Just change it to what is in the first one.)
