"Reply with quote" behavior
 
When Quick Reply is turned ON, all replies are "quick". What I want to do is change the behavior of "Reply with Quote" so that it acts as a full reply, meaning, it should call do=postreply (like clicking Go Advanced) instead of do=newreply. I don't want to turn OFF Quick Reply because I want to retain the ability of quick replying via the regular "Reply" button.

Any suggestions?

You would have to edit the link in the postbit or postbit_legacy template. I have not done it, so I can't give you specifics on how to do it.
