VB4 CMS - Turn Articles into Threads!

I'm looking to let some of my more active news-hound users submit news as an article on in the CMS and have their article automatically open up a new thread in the forum with the first post being the article with a link back to the article.

If this is something someone is interested in, please let me know...this would be a killer feature.

I would have sworn that this happened automatically when someone commented on the article, down in the Comments area. Maybe your members could comment on their atricle submission, causing the thread to be generated?

Would this be a setting somewhere?

I've set up a test migration of my forum to the vb4 suite and we don't get any new threads on article/blog comments.

anyone else know is this is an option I just don't have turned on...or if this would be a new feature/modification?

Thanks.

It's in AdminCP somewhere..... I saw it when I had 4.0 Publishing Suite installed on my test site. IIRC it's Admin CP -> Settings -> Options -> CMS Settings, then entering a forum ID to hold article comments.

Here's where vbulletin.com stores their article comments: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forum...cle-Discussion so it's definately available in "stock" 4.0, the question is how to enable it.

That's it. For reference, it's under AdminCP > Settings > Options > Content Management
