why is the front page still using the default vbulletin style?
i have made a new style, set it as the default, and disabled style changing.
however, the front page is still using the vbulletin default style, and not the style i made and set to default. how can i fix this? |
You need to set the style for the CMS in the section editor. Go to Home > hover over section name > click on pencil > set style on that page.

at the location lynne said, set it to "Board defaults" then it will change when you change the main style in admincp > settings > server and style settings..
Attachment 109143 But when using "board default" also makes it possible for a user to change the style.. Ive set it like that on my own site, signature link. Ewen unregistered/not logged in users can switch styles ALSO on cms. |
What's the use of an extra style pick, should there be a default for the whole thing? Soemhow i feel cms and forums are not really connected.

The purpose of allowing style in the CMS? So you can have a different look to it, just like you can for each of your forums if you wanted.
