Huge images mess up my forums

The person posted a very wide image, which caused the original width of the forums to be stretched so much that the left/right scroll bar is needed to see the whole forum/image.

I checked how other forums deal with this, and it looks like they resize the image if it's too large. How can I do this or at least some method to fix this?

I am wondering the same thing.
It looks like other VBulletin forums automatically re-size the pictures, not to mini mini size but to a acceptable size that does not change the forum frames.
