Attaching Images
 
When ever I attach a PNG image, it automatically converts it to a JPG format, and shrinks the original size. Is there any way to maintain the file format when attaching an image while keeping the original size?

Turn off attachment thumbnailing in the admincp.

But do you really want a image 800x600 being viewed in your forum pages?

Yes, because I have an image resizer modification.

EDIT: I turned of thumbnailing and it still converts the PNG image to a JPG.

Check the attachment extensions, along with the maximum sizes AdminCP> Attachments
