Changing my default RSS2 Feed

I have a quick question, I'd like to change my default RSS feed for my site. Currently is pulls all new threads from the site, but I would like to limit it to only new threads in certain forums. We have many people posting about issues and rants that get reposted in our RSS lol. I'd prefer to have content posts ONLY in the RSS, which are located in a couple of specific forums.

How is this possible??

Have you tried just using the external_query hook to exclude certain forums from the query?
