Continuous logged out since 3.8.4 patch2
 

Hey,
This morning I applied the vB3.8.4 Patch 2 - Ever since doing that, the forum users keep getting logged out every 10 minutes or so.

I'm not sure why this is, but I assume it's because of the patch because it never happened before. Could you let me know if there is a way of fixing this.

Have they clicked the "remember me" button?

Yeah 'Remember me' is clicked for most of them, yet the problem is still on-going. I'm an admin and it's fine for me, but any other usergroup gets logged out.

Paul M & other guys were discussing this over @ vb.com in the vb4 forums.
Cookie hash or whatever.

My users are also having this problem. Anyone have a fix yet?

My users who are having the problem assure me that they have deleted all their cookies and re-started their computers but are still having the same problem.

Is it worth removing the security patch? :(

BFP & PhoenixUK, has this happened to you both after installing the patch from yesterday?

I'm not really sure why you would be posting here about this issue, there would also be no fix here for this issue, you should be posting at vbulletin.com for support.

Also, if your forum has more than one url pointing at it, make sure it is white listed.

1. close ALL your browsers.
2. Open 1 browser window.
3. Clear cache.
4. Clear history.
5. Clear "saved data."
6. Clear all cookies.
7. Close browser.
8. Open browser, try again.

W/ FF 3.5.x, please make sure that your clearing all your cache.
Time range to clear: --> select Everything, then click Ok.

We're having the same problem. Clearing cookies seems to solve it for a while, but then it returns. Interestingly, using the style picker drop-down seems to increase the chance of the log out.

Same issue here :(
