Rounded Border Corners

Hello,

Hoping this is not a completely stupid question and please keep in mind that I don't know much about css, etc. Nevertheless, I have played around with the stylevar and have gone through the 10 steps to skinning your forum and the stylevar directory and I can't find any way to make the borders of my forum (like I see in many designs including the screenshots on vbulletin.com) round.

I even googled it and can't find a way without doing it without images. Am I missing something or is this option not available in the stylevar area?

Thanks!

Hey,

Which browser are you using? If your using IE then you wont see the rounded corners, they only show on the likes of firefox, safari etc.

To make it show with all browsers including IE, you would need images for the corners. A MAJOR change to the layout...

Interesting...thanks for the answers.

IE will have CSS support for ie 9 release, which isent that far into the future.

They announced that time from ie 7 to 8 was a bit long, so the ie9 release should
be quite close.. :D

But until ie9 there is no rounded corners by default in ie. :D

Quote:

IE9 will offer CSS3 selectors and rounded corners (it’s about time). JavaScript performance will also be improved.
just google for it :D IE9 is a major release.. so hopeing for the best ofcourse.

EDIT : link to a good article on features - http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/ <--Scroll down.

EDIT 2 : if alot of your users are IE8 users, than you can force rounded cornors instructions
