Rebuild Phrases
 
Over the past few years I have added several language packs, and somehow my phrases got clobbered and I'm seeing German phrases on my english buttons on the forum.

I have removed all the language packs, rebuit the English one (I think)

but I am still seeing the phrases in german, and spanish. Is there any way to get this back to English only?

I've never had to do it, but have you looked to see if tools.php has an option to reset the phrases back to english? Upload tools.php (from the do_not_upload folder) into your admin cp and point your browser at it. I think it has an option in there regarding the language.
