Adding avatar from thread creator to the title in thread list?

I look through this whole site, and I'm shocked that someone hasn't written code to add the thread creator's avatar in the thread title.

ESPN's message board does it, and it looks great...

I've searched pretty hard. Could you pm me if you find this code?

It would be a great modification.
