Problem with signatures

Hello,

I have problems with limiting signatures. In user group the limit for dimension is 500x100 and for size is 10000 bytes, but still some users are able to put images over 1000 px and over 1 MB.
I have even put option "Can Upload Images for Signature" to NO but it doesn't work.
What can be problem?

Are they uploading the images or using the [img] tag?

Use an image hosting service.
