Usergroup tags in user info box?

Staff and user-group tags.

Another forum i visit uses really neat tags which describe the user as being admin, staff or supporters.

The tag image appears just below a users post count underneath their avatar.

How can i achieve this for our forum?

Any suggestions or help appreciated..
