change forumhome resizing horizontally

Hi,

Right now my forum 'grows/shrinks' horizontally whenever the browser gets resized.

Where can i change this habit? I want to give it a static value.

Thanks in advance!

If you mean changing from a fluid to a fixed design.

Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> All Style Options -> Go -> Main Table Width

Yours is probably sitting at 100% change that value to whatever you want. IE:960px

Careful though if your using a custom skin, that variable could be hard coded in a few spots.

Hi,

Thats exactly what i mean. I already tried that option. Didn't work. I had a mod installed that separates the categories, but i disabled it atm.

The only thing that changes is the dark blue bar at the bottom of my forum home page, the one that contains links such as 'contact us' and 'admin', 'mod' etc.

I also can't find the main table in the templates that holds all those forums and other tables.

I disabled the category separator mod (as i said before), but I did separate the forums in a manually way. See:

Although your suggestion works if i revert everything, but only for the categories and their forums. Not for 'who's online' or the navbar, or any other table in forum home page.

There was a bug in one (or a few) of the 3.8.X series where the main table width was not working correctly. Search in the bug tracker for it and I think there is a fix posted.

Hi Lynne,

I found the post, but where can I find a fix for it? It's not saying that in the thread.

Never mind, found it! I need to give up a value without the 'px' behind it.
