Any mods released to prevent spamming?

I've had a heap of spammers join up the last few days, is there any mods that can get rid of this?

Activate reCAPTCHA in your ACP via the Human verification manager. It works like a champ!

i switched from reCAPTCHA to regular questions,
since then not a single spam bot.

with reCAPTCHA + email verification - i had new Viagra and drug commercials on a daily basis
and a hell alot of porn spam.

was thinking makeing a porn and drugs site, content is bot created :p (just kidding)

well now im running Question verification and email verification,
havent had a single bot register in more than 2 months, where before it was daily. :D

haha the hands free approach, love it. Somebody should start a tutorial "how to run a successful forum without having to manage anything".
