Need to backup and restore. Forum uses attachments.
 
There are so many posts about doing backups and how to restore a forum but it is difficult to sift through them all to get all the info I need. Which brings me to my questions:

I am trying to backup a forum using MySQLDumper. I simply run the backup option from the script and it creates the backup file in a specified folder which I download onto my PC and delete. I have seen something about forums that use the file system for attachments though.

When I restore this backup with MySQLDumper, will it restore my site to how it was when the backup file was made? And what happens to my attachments, will all of that be intact?
