Recent Topic Code: E.g {vb:raw recent.topics}

As title is there anything like that were i have a custom page on vB 4.0 and i want to show recent threads/post underneath it is there a little code snippit like above that i can use?

Thanks

You can only use a variable if you've defined it. If you define $recent[topics], then sure, you can use it, but you can't go into a new page, put a variable in there, and expect something to show up if you have no code written to define it. If you want to show recent threads/posts, you will need to add the code to your page to define them first.

This is going to be a biggie i guess....how do i define it? Any current written codes. If ou go to here - http://www.twingooc.com/misc.php?do=page&template=home

Im sure you can see what im trying to do?

Thanks!

Sure, I know what you are trying to do, but as I said, you need to code it. There are several mods around that will get the latest threads, or latest posts. You'll have to take one of them and modify it to work on your own page.

Could really do with a guide on this guys - As home page is starting to come together at the moment and need this as it would be great and make the homepage look a lot better!

Did you see this article - Create "Latest Threads" Custom Page And then tons of Mods to get the Latest XXX also. Did you look at any of those?

The article I linked to it in the vB3 articles forum.
