Weird Gap - Need Help Please
1 Attachment(s)
Hey everyone,
I went into my user settings today and noticed this huge gap pop up in the corner: Attachment 107111 I don't know where it came from and I've been trying to find out what happened. I was hoping someone might know the file I need to edit to fix that gap. Thanks for any help, I appreciate it! |
Did you edit any of your templates?
It could be a template error or it could of been one of the style vars you edited. Here is the template for the usercp.php page. adminCP --> Style Manager --> Edit Template --> USERCP_SHELL |
You'll need to look in the source code to see what is going on. We can't tell just from an image. We can just guess - maybe some extra lines, the css, a too wide div, etc.
|
Here's the source of that page:
Code:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> |
I don't see any extra lines in the source code, so I'd guess it's a css issue. (It almost looks like a float:xxx or clear:xxx was removed or else a margin/border was set too wide for one of those divs.)
|
Well it don't look like a template edit to me.
My guess is like Lynne said a too wide div or a wide border or something in the style vars. Looks to me that it is in the blocks section of the Style Vars |
I found it! I had a 1px border set around the "Block Border" in the StyleVar's and it caused it to jump down the screen. Removed the border and it went back to normal.
thanks for helping me out guys. I truly appreciate it! |
Your Welcome ;)
