vb.org Archive - Problem with vB 3.8.4 unbanning users

Hello, I am a regular admin on a forum running vBulletin 3.8.4. It is a large forum with 100,000+ members and 20k views daily. But, the problem is that when I ban someone in the ACP or one of my mods bans someone in the MCP on a temporary ban, when their ban time comes to an end, the vB doesn't unban them, but instead says in the MCP/ACP "Will be lifted soon." I read somewhere it might have something to do with scheduled tasks, but I'm wondering if there are any other possibly solutions. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
