External Pages Accessible through VBulleting Login Portal
 

Hi all - trust you're well.

Question: We are looking to integrate a Help Manual within the root of our vBulletin installation, then to give members-only access to these helpfiles. Attempts to access these files directly from outside vBulletin are responded to with the standard 'You Are Not Logged In' message.

All helpfiles are html-based, with an index file representing the help's home page. It looks like we'll install all help pages within single files, which are then uploaded through FTP to our server.

Somehow I suspect we require a htaccess. file to be written. If so, I do not know how to go about that.

Could anyone give me a helping hand with this - some advise on how to tackle this one would be greatly appreciated.
