SMF 2.0 RC1 to vBulletin 4.0 utility?
 

Looking for a utility to transfer over all the forum structure, users, content, etc from SMF 2.0 RC1 to the vBull 4.0.

I tried googling, but no dice.

Looking for a nice easy transition with minimum downtime when we go live with the new site. Thanks all!

I don't think the impex importer has been update yet to do this but to transfer to vbulletin 3.8 it is possible I believe. Then you can upgrade to 4.0 beta.

Already got the 4.0 up and running and alot of things I've added in...hate to have to revert. Thanks for the input though.

The beta forums are always made way before the impex system sad to say.

You aren't going to find anything to do what you want right now. Impex won't be updated until sometime after vb4 has gone Gold. Your best bet is to import to a 3.8 site and then upgrade.

Save your .css files as needed and do as suggested.

Found a buddy who is pretty good at this stuff. He is going to use the current ImPEX as a jump off point and modify it to work, or scratch write a utility. I'll chat with him about releasing it if it works.

Tell him to look real carefully at what is done to attachments. If you don't modify that part of the script, you will not be able to use your attachments.
