how do i get the user number to show up on the profile? i know its obtained in the url, but i want it to automatically show up when they post

You will have to modify the template and add it in there. The variable in the postbit to use is probably {vb:raw post.userid}

To find the template to modify, do this - vboptions > General Settings > Add Template Name in HTML Comments > set to Yes . Then go back to your page and view the source code and you will see the name of the template called around your part of the code. Sometimes the template is the one mentioned at the very top of the page source.

ok i got the settings changed to yes, but now im confused again lol....sorry im really new at vB
