Is it possible for someone to update this thread https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=98009 and post it here with the new updated information?

The reason I ask, is because all I need is a very basic explanation of how the new template system works, but I just can't figure it out, whenever I try to do it, I either get a page with nothing on it (all white, nothing in viewsource) or just text (whatever i had in the template).
