Hi !

Question about username variable... Is it possible to turn OFF ???

{username} is watching this !!!

in my forum, after entering this it shows your real username (in my case)

kuraba is watching this !!!

have vbulletin 3.68

I have searched on all vbull forum options, but didnt find it... Please can someone help me...

No, you cannot just turn of username.

Im also not aware of any part of vb that says "xxxx is watching this" - where are you seeing this ?

vb Options > User Registration > Username Regular Expression


You may require the username to match a regular expression (PCRE). The admin help provides some examples that may be useful. To disable this function leave the option blank.

I mean this:

You write post in quick reply like this:

blablabalbla {username}

After posting this post, if I see the post it would be:

blablabalbla kuraba

If you see that post it would be:
blablabalbla Paul M

now understand what I ask ? about this function or variable {username}... Today have disabled all plugin in forum, and then {username} in post was {username}

That is because that is happening due to a modification. You will have to figure out which modification it is and turn it off. It isn't default vbulletin functionality.
