How can Moderators Moderate new users

Hello, i am getting alot of spammers in my forum and i want to be able to moderate who gets in and who dosent, I know how to moderate new users as administrator, but can i give my moderators the rights to be able to moderate new users?

You can make a new usergroup say Jr. Admin or something of the likes. Then set it to be based off of Admin. Then set all Permissions for the usergroup to No except:

Can Administer Users

Then go and set your mods secondary to that usergroup.

Just make sure your Admin are Unalterable in config.php
