Bulk Attachment Upload Modification?
 

Ok seriously, I've searched and I feel like this is something that should be obvious or at least discussed but appears not to be as much as I expected. But is there a mod anywhere that allows multiple, batch, attachment uploads to a post? For example: I open up manage attachments, click browse and instead of being limited to selecting 1 image or file I can select multiple. This would be super handy in avoiding the tedious process involved in uploading 1 image at a time, clicking each individually and so on and so forth.

That's not what he wanted, he wants to be able to click browse and multi select a large number of attachments at once without having to browse and select one at a time.

Well its still does the same thing. Uploading more than one.

I don't think a mod can be made for the request, my way of doing the same is to ftp multiple files as large as a couple gigs to a directory and put links to them in a post.

Attachment manager will allow a max of 10 upload boxes at a time. with a little adjusting I have been able to upload 250 meg files. You could winrar or zip multiples into one compressed file and upload that way. I have posts that contain 7.4 gigs of attachments each. Hope this helps.

Yeah, we already allow 10 uploads at a time but it just is too frustrating for members who are dumping hundreds of images at a time to have to individually select each one. The point of it is basically to use the forum threads as galleries, sort of, but with the ease of quicker uploading.

I wish this were easier said than done. :(

I hear ya... Imageshack is an option, saves on server space too.

Problem is I pay for ample server space so my users can have it conveniently at their fingertips. Poo diddly.
