Integrate mailing list with user registration

Is there a mod that can help integrate a feedburner email subscription into the registration process?

I'm still very keen on this, has anyone attempted something like this?

I'd suppose it's a simple code modification that "connects" or "sends" an email address to the specific feedburner feed subscription...

Anyone?
