Custom Integration
 

Hello, I have have an intranet with username and password based login. I would like to know how I can integrate vBulletin with my intranet - sharing logins, and account creation from the intranet, also creates an account on the forum.

Basically, bridge and integrate.

Ok, so here's the situation more detail.

The user logs into the intranet. The login is done through ajax, username and password is hashed and sent to database. The password is md5ed and salted. The salt is common through all of the users/passwords.

What I need is for the vBulletin cookie to be set upon login, and that the user is mapped to the correct user profile.

Additionally, the intranet administrator will need to create accounts from the intranet backend, so code will need to be in place to create vB user when new intranet account/user is created.
