Thread/post scheduler
Apologies is this is already available, but I did search.
I'm looking for a way to schedule posts and threads. I have a regular set of posts and thread operations that are done at a certain time. I currently have to wait for that time and do them manually. Things like replying to an existing thread, starting a new thread, opening and closing threads, are all tasks I'd love to be able to do ahead of time and set an option to actually execute at a specified date/time. A simple option box with selectable usergroup visibility under the reply and new thread editors would work fine. Even better would be storage of text I could specify so that I wouldn't have to type or paste in the contents. I don't need multi-scheduling or repeat, but I could see how others might use this. During my search I came across some other requests for this capability, but no solutions. Thanks in advance. |

I'm interested in this too ... anyone know of anything that would do this?

i also need to do this.
Has anyone found any solution ? |
You'd have to write a Scheduled Task (cron job) to do this. I have yet to see anyone publish code or a modification that will do this.
