Strange promotion problem !

I have a problem with my forum, the promotion is not working that well.
I have set up some new user groups and some new promotion rules.

For ex. to be elite user you need to have 100 posts but in the elite user group i can FIND USERS WITH 50 posts for example. Why is that ? I have run the Scheduled Tasks but no difference.

Need you help with this one ! Thanks.

PS: I am using Bulletin® Version 3.8.2

Could they have been promoted and then you deleted some of their posts? Let's see a screen shot of your promotion set up.

Here you go. In the [Squire] user group i have more than 70 users than don't meet the promotion req. but they are in that group. I really don't understand why.

That looks like it should work. Do you know for sure that they didn't meet that criteria and then have posts deleted? Could they have been manually moved to that usergroup?

NO for both questions, nobody have deleted any posts... What should i do ? I think i need to manually moved them to the correct user group ? ( lot of work )

What do you think ?

You could manually move them to the correct group, but that doesn't help you figure out what went wrong in the first place and so it may happen again. Your promotions look set up correctly. Could you have had it set up differently for a short period and then the users were added then? Have you looked at the Control Panel logs to see when they users were promoted to the new group? If they were all promoted at the same time, perhaps something was changed just for that moment and that is when it happened.

(You may be able to mass move them using the Users > Prune/Move Users option.)

(You may be able to mass move them using the Users > Prune/Move Users option.)

i am facing same problem ...

I had that problem once and couldnt really explain why. I decided to run the Scheduled Task Manager for promotions and it worked. Maybe give that a shot? Good Luck

doesnt change anything with it as well... i guess i also have to do it manually by using Users > Prune/Move Users option :(

vb should fix this error :(
