I need help, I am looking for a mod to show similar threads below the last post.

This is default vbulletin functionality.

vboptions > Message Searching Options > Automatic Similar Thread Search

vboptions > Thread Display > Show Similar Threads

Those are not similar links, those are Previous Thread | Next Thread links.

After you turn on the options for Similar Threads, if you need similar threads to show up for old threads, you need to rebuild similar threads under Maintenance > Update Counters.

Ahh, thanks for the clarification! I've done precisely the steps detailed in this thread, but similar threads don't seem to be showing up for me :(

Thread Display Options > Show Similar Threads? YES

Message Searching Options > Automatic Similar Thread Search YES

Maintenance > Update Counters > Rebuild Similar Threads DONE

But similar threads aren't being listed when I tab out of the Title field and into the message body field. Any ideas?

What you are referring to is an additional plugin.
Vbulletin only will show you a list of similar threads at the bottom of the showthread page.
Take a look at this plugin instead:
