vB not sending emails
 

Hey guys,

tried everything, from f-parameter to SMTP server settings, diagnostics etc.

But can't get my forum to send an email to me.

What could be the problem?

Check your maillog on the server.

Where to find that?

(I only have access to cPanel)

/var/log/

If you only have cpanel access, you will need to ask your host to find out why your particular email fails to be delivered from your forum/server to you.

Ok thanks, I'll contact them.

Also, do I need to enter my incoming or outgoing SMTP server and corresponding port?

Not by default.

If you want to use another out going mail server like gmail or something.
