list of words to censor

Hello All,

I am new to this and I wanted some help from all of you. You all are having vbulletin forums and you all are aware which words should be censored. You must have build a censor word list which are appropriate and effective.

Can you please share such list with others ?

Waiting for a positive response.

Thanks.

I'm sure it would be different for every site. Besides which, if someone tried to post it here, I'm sure several of the words would be censored.

All i want to say is "GOOGLE" google something like words banned from television, that should give you a pretty good list to start with.

I don't censor any words. I support free speech.

Seconded silent. I think my users should be able to speak freely, and if their post offends someone then they just report it and the appropriate action is taken.

Although we don't tolerate flaming, which is what it could lead to.

My Site www.mk1dubz.com has one rule, you treat other members with respect.

There is no difference in disrespecting another member regardless of the word used.

My group is a small group and they are a good bunch of guys. honestly, I am the worst one when it comes to language anyway.

I support free speech, anything less is an embarassment.

Guys, that's great, but you are kinda going off topic. You have no idea what the circumstances are for the OP's site and/or why he wants to use censoring.

Thank you very much for your replies, I really appreciate it. One of my forum section is for posting my forum members about the bad experience they had with any hosting. So I doubt that in that section many unwanted words can be used which might turn it in some level of abusive language and I really don't want bad words used for anyone. so instead of posting if anyone can attach some txt file which they are already using for their forum and think is effective it will be really appreciated.

Thanks,
Admin
