No one's registering?
 

Hey. I opened my site about three months ago called www.GameRex.net - it's a gaming discussion forum. No one has registered for about 2 weeks... What am I doing wrong?

Advertising can be a hard part to running a website,

Have you submit your website to search engines, web directories and even looking at doing link exchanges with fellow sites that are similar to your own.

im having similar issues with my website and getting it promoted, its just time and advertising that will increase your overall traffic to your site,

have a look at taking part in other websites that is similar to your own even including your website link in the signature (Be aware that not all website like this type of advertising)

Overall you have a nice looking website, just takes time and taking part in other websites to get your website heard

Word of mouth is a good option aswell.

I've submitted my site to around 12 search engines, and I'm in search of sites to affiliate with mine. I saw loads of activity when I first opened my site, but it gradually started to die down.

I'm not spamming the vb.org lounge? I thought these kind of topics were allowed, and plus, I know that it won't just be me that will benefit from this thread. This is a serious topic for a serious discussion :)

Try getting a new theme, to me being a gamer and all it kinda makes me think about some barbie games or w/e. It looks like a great website but try getting a theme that looks like it came right out of gears of war or some other fps game.

Also check to make sure the registration still works fine, People might try and register and unable ot because something is going wrong.

I havent looked at your site. But if you dont have one already get a links directory and start a links campaign. trade with anybody. but of course relevent links will do the most good.

Even though your dropdown menu looks cool being clear, it's pretty hard to read at first glance which requires users to squint to see it on top of the texts behind it.
