Think you might be best to ask on the Vbseo forums, might take a while to get a reply tho!

Can I ask why you uninstalled it?

hemelstrand 09-29-2009 12:30 PM

need to transfer licence to a new page. and vbseo sia diu had to in order to do that

BSMedia 09-29-2009 01:27 PM

delete the .htaccess file and remove all files and products/plugins.

hemelstrand 09-29-2009 02:28 PM

where is that located the .hta

theFM 09-29-2009 02:58 PM

in the forum root or the vbulletin folder

generally it is located in

public_html folder

do not delete the full .htaccess file
just delete these lines : -

PHP Code:

#RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.yourdomain\.com
#RewriteRule (.*) http://www.yourdomain.com/forums/$1 [L,R=301]

RewriteRule ^((urllist|sitemap_).*\.(xml|txt)(\.gz)?)$ vbseo_sitemap/vbseo_getsitemap.php?sitemap=$[L]

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !(admincp/|modcp/|cron|vbseo_sitemap)
RewriteRule ^((archive/)?(.*\.php(/.*)?))$ vbseo.php [L,QSA]

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond
%{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond
%{REQUEST_FILENAME} !^(admincp|modcp|clientscript|cpstyles|images)/
RewriteRule ^(.+)$ vbseo.php [L,QSA

only

REMEMBER , THERE WILL ONLY BE A .HTACCESS FILE IF YOU ARE USING APACHE WEBSERVER.

Note : - Remember removing ur vbseo outs you in high seo disadvantage and people will not longer be able to go to ur site
and also the links which is listed by google spiders will be of no use.
