Location Text Restriction for Registration?

Ok so I have that the location is required upon registration for an additional help to cut down on spam. All the spammers enter "1" as their location. Is there any way to disallow users to enter 1 for their location?

nothing huh? I take it, this would have to do with editing the template code?
