Category, subform layout (not depth related)
I am looking into creating a new board and want to experiment with having a different style for the forum index (homepage.) I have run across several sites that have modified the default layout of their categories and sub-forums but I have not had much luck in finding out how this can be done.
Here are a few examples of what I am referring to: http://na.aiononline.com/forums/ http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/ http://www.swtor.com/community/ Can anyone point me in the right direction when it comes to these styles? So far most of the posts I have found are in related to depth but I have not run into anything regarding layouts like the above. Thanks, ~Uns |
Cyb has some subforum modification that users use to make forums look like what you posted. I think his mod will put it in a couple of columns like that and then you can modify the template to pick and choose what you want shown in that box.

Okay I found it and will take a look at the mod when I get home from work, but from the demo it looks like it would help me achieve what I am looking for or at the very least put me on the right path. Thank you Lynne!
