How to reduce bouce in Google analytics
 

I'm trying to reduce my bouce rate as it's in the mid to high 60's I'm made a few changes but it's gone up, what do people here to to optimize?

Find out what keywords come up on google for your site, make sure your providing relevant content for that. Say your forum is about hiking and your getting a lot of keywords for sneakers, you may want to spread your emphasis to other topics.

Also, make sure your forum isn't cluttered and have too many sections. Some time beginners to forums get overwhelmed with all of the clutter and options that they decide to leave.

I also keep some interesting, popular categories be shown to guests so that the thread title shows but the content is only viewable by registered members.

Just some tips that I've used.
