Debate Mod idea
 

I am looking to get some feedback on an idea I had for my sports forum website. I was thinking of a mod that would pit two members in a debate on a generated sports question. Each member would select either PRO or CON before the question is generated. There would also be 5 other members that would be in the 'peanut gallery' who would vote on which member, either pro or con had the better arguement. I think you would have to wait until all 7 positions were filled before the question popped up and those positions would be locked in until all five judges voted.

There could be a time limit on how long the participants had to come up with a response to the question. You could start with PRO ...then CON after you saw what pro said. Its just an idea that popped in my head. Let me know what you think. Can this work? Would it keep peoples interest?
