Minimum time between thread view is possible?
 

Hi.. guys,

I have seen a feature in vbulletin called "Minimum time between Searches". Similar to this is there anything called "Minimum time between Thread view/open".

If not possible in vbulleting, is anybody ever made a Mod?

Please help me I need this feature.

Also, some people are keeping my site opened in many windows. Is it a reason to site become slow, (some time sounds silly) if so.. is ther any way or mod to stop this?

You want to slow your users down for a reason? Or search engines? A user keeping your site open in many windows shouldn't be that harful.

I have never seen a mod like this.

Unless you have something 'running' on every page that hogs resources, I can't imagine that it is hurtful to your site for a user to have several windows open at the same time.

It's also worth noting that if you slow down your site using this method, you will likely lose search engine rank purely as a result of slow crawling.... Google isn't going to want to send searchers to a site that takes forever to load. The best method to slowing crawlrate would be to add the value to your robots.txt
