Profile Permission Problems.

Hi, I'm running vBulletin? Version 3.8.4 and I have a few (3 so far) members out of 3600+ that are having odd profile permission issues.

They get this error viewing their own profiles and photo albums (photoplog pro) and some navigation bar items.

I have tried "fix broken profiles", rebuilt almost everything in under 'update counters' in admincp. Nothing so far has worked. apache & modsec2 error/audit/debug logs are not showing these errors at all.

Thanks in advance...

Can we get a link to these 'problem' profiles? And a working one?

SomeDude-GP 09-09-2009 04:24 PM

the odd part is that they cant see their own profile/albums/whatever, but i can. I just asked the members that are having problems if they can see the other users (that are having issues) profiles and albums.

just heard back from a member and they told me that they can not see my profile as well (get the same error)

So basically, users can see their own profile but not others profiles?

Check Usergroup Manager > select usergroup to edit > Can View Member Info > Yes

SomeDude-GP 09-09-2009 04:50 PM

they cant see anyones profiles or albums
