Is there a way to make RSS feeds fetch...

...less often than once every 12 hours? I would like some of the feeds to be fetching once every couple days...

You set that in your RSS Feed Manager for each feed - check Feed Every....

The max I can see in the drop-down is once every 12 hours, but I want it to check every 48 or 72 hours...

Ah, I see what you are saying. I supposed you can change how often the RSS Poster Robot runs in your Scheduled Tasks.

That sounds like a good solution.

That way the RSS posting bot can be set to run every 2, 3 or 4 days, at a certain time and even on a certain day.

OK, yeah that would work, but for instance say there are some RSS feeds I want pulled every 10m, and some I want pulles every 48 hours.

How do I set them apart, or even make two different scheduled tasks?

If that is the case, then I think you would have to modify the rssposter.php file to add in more time options. Check around line 350 of that file to see where to add new time options. I've never tried that, though, but it seems like it should work if you set it up correctly.

I added the times, (all had to be done in hours) and they show up in the dropdown choices for times, but it isn't locking in. for instance when I change from 12 hours to one of my new ones (say 48 hours) then when i load the settings again it will still say 12 hours.

It only knows the times that vB came with..

suggestions?

Since I can't see your code, I have no idea what is wrong. Also, it could be in a few places, I really didn't look to see every place that code for the time is used.

I pretty much gave up on this, but I hope somday I can have RSS feeds fetch once every couple days..
