yeah i understand, in future you probably want to make video site like youtube or information source like wikipedia :D well i have no idea sir how much it will cost you but about servers you can buy them from dell or other companies and just install it anywhere you want. I have no idea about T1 internet connection or better internet connections and i was doing a search on google where most of the companies ask to fill up the form for quotations and i don't want to do that :D

May be in future if you find any good way do let us/me know and may be we can start a new business as partners :p 50-50 :p so when we sell our youtube like site for $1 billion dollars we will divide into half half = 500 million dollars :) :up:

The best way is to start off basic, start making a website first, develop the website and possibly a community forum, and make sure you get your WHMCS or whatever you're using integrated. Once that's all done, you should start putting it into a live environment. You could go with a dedicated server, so that you're not limited (by much) by the host.

And after all that, you could finally start advertising.

I mean, that's my success summarized but yeah.

For $3000, your hosting company will be very slow (not enough money to buy a fast connection to host more than 5 websites), lots of downtime (can only afford 1 good server, upgrades and accounts taking down your server), and lots of attacks, no money for a good firewall.

do what the other guy said, get a reseller account, save up $30,000, then start your own.

30000$ is alot i can try getting 10 and even if i can i wont put 30 it to it
