vB.com/.org loading slowly?

Just wanted to see who else may be expieriencing this issue, as it's kind of frustrating. I'm guessing it's a DoS or DDoS, but sure seems to be hogging a lot of bandwidth.

I have a very fast cable connection and i can barely more on this site, it's been going on for days. thanks for that link.

It looks like we got it under control again now.

Everything fine on my end now but I was having issues yesterday. Thankfully my Nintendo Wii managed to keep be occupied for 8 hours this afternoon....I came real close to turning it in to a paper weight. -,-

So you guys are still getting at least one DDOS attack every year eh? ;)

How has this been done ?

Ive lost all access from my normal ISP, Ive had to resort to a russian proxy server to get access to vb.com and here.

We lost access to VB.org, for a few hours yesterday, seemed to be limping along.
All looks good now.

The way it was done was probably a range ban, or a country ban. Usually attacks as such originate from the same area with the guaranteed bandwidth and all... And you may have just been in the wrong area :p
