Trying to generate a query for the most active threads
 

Im not sure how to tackle this, but what I want to do is pull how the most active threads on the forum currently. Ive tried a sql query to pull the threads with the most views, but this pulls up some very old threads that had alot of views years ago, but im more interested in whats really active on the forum at this moment.

I was thinking of some kind of combination of the most number of views relative to the thread date and just pull the 5 most recent thread dates, something like that..?

Has anyone done this or have any thoughts on this?

You could add something into the query that limits the date of the first post to be in the last year (or whatever). Did you try that?
